• All bookings must be made online or via direct contact with our team.
• Full payment is required to secure your place unless otherwise arranged.
• Group bookings and private tours may require a 50% deposit.
• Prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.

• All participants must disclose relevant medical conditions or fitness limitations prior to the hike.
• You must be physically capable of completing the hike you select. If unsure, contact us for advice.
• Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• You may be required to sign a waiver and complete an emergency contact form before participating.

• Our guides are trained professionals. You must follow all guide instructions at all times.
• We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who poses a risk to themselves, others, or the environment.
• Failure to comply with safety or environmental guidelines may result in removal from the tour without refund.

• Bushwalking and outdoor activities carry inherent risks including uneven terrain, weather changes, wildlife encounters, and remoteness.
• Participation is at your own risk. By booking, you accept these risks and agree not to hold Wedgetail Hiking & Guides Co. liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation.

• We hold public liability insurance of $10 million.
• Personal accident, travel, or equipment insurance is your responsibility and strongly recommended.
• We do not accept liability for personal belongings lost or damaged during tours.

If you need to cancel your booking:

• 7+ days before hike: Full refund or reschedule available
• 48 hours to 6 days before hike: 50% refund or reschedule
• Less than 48 hours before hike: No refund
• No-shows: No refund
   

Overnight or private tours:

• Must be cancelled 14+ days in advance for a full refund
• Cancellations 7–13 days prior receive a 50% refund
• Less than 7 days: No refund unless we can rebook your spot

• We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours due to dangerous weather, park closures, minimum participant numbers not being met, or other unforeseen circumstances.
• If we cancel, you’ll receive a full refund or be offered a rescheduled date.
• Light rain or heat will not result in cancellation. Safety is our first priority.

• Tours run in most conditions. We will only cancel if it’s unsafe (e.g. storms, flooding, extreme fire risk).
• Be prepared with appropriate clothing and gear as per your pre-hike information pack.

• Private guide hire is subject to custom arrangements and location-specific conditions.
• Fuel/travel charges may apply outside our local range.
• Hunting support requires valid permits; no weapons are supplied or handled by our guides.

• We may take photos during tours for promotional purposes. Let us know if you do not wish to be photographed.
• All images and content remain the property of Wedgetail Hiking & Guides Co. unless otherwise agreed in writing.
